this is the first hydroponics unit I purchased and I am loving it.. I have yet to get my tiny tim tomatoes harvested yet but I do see lots of flowers and small tiny tomatoes under the flowers.
I have been using this about 3 months and it works great. We have grown a lot of lettuce, but are still waiting on cucumbers and tomatoes. The cucumbers have flowered, so it should not be too long. When I add water I add the corresponding amount of plant food as it says on the directions. I have to check the water level about 2-3 times a month, but it has been winter here. I imagine in summer it will be once a week. The timer works from the time you plug it in. Its not fancy, but works for me. I was just looking for something basic. I am considering buying the bigger one in this same brand. The pump has worked just fine for me too. The feel like it is a good quality machine.

I love this growing station. The design is cute in my sunroom and the herbs are growing great! Easy to use, the pump is so quiet I kept checking to make sure it was running during the first week. The timing feature also works great. This one was less expensive than many, but zero complaints!
