How to avoid overwatering?

All Growell devices are designed to monitor the water levels mechanically. When the water level drops to the bottom of the tank, it is time for a refill!

However, it is crucial to avoid adding too much water to the water tank.
If you pour too much water inside, there is a risk of overwatering which in turn may cause root rot or unsuccessful germination. To avoid this from happening, the water level should not rise higher than the garden surface.
